Fantasy
J.R.R. Tolkien's Ringenes Herre
og C. S. Lewis's Cronicles of Narnia.
| | Rage of a Demon King | Raymond E. Feist | | | Could not get info.. | | American Gods | Neil Gaiman | | | American Gods is Neil Gaiman's best and most ambitious novel yet, a scary, strange, and hallucinogenic road-trip story wrapped around a deep examination of the American spirit. Gaiman tackles everything from the onslaught of the information age to the meaning of death, but he doesn't sacrific... | | Stardust | Neil Gaiman | | | Stardust is an utterly charming fairy tale in the tradition of The Princess Bride and The Neverending Story. Neil Gaiman, creator of the darkly elegant Sandman comics and author of The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish, tells the story of young Tristran Thorn and his... | | The Eye of the World (The Wheel of Time, Book 1) | Robert Jordan | | | The Eye of the World, to put it bluntly, is one of the greatest novels that I've ever read. The action and the plot line are top shelf material, but I think the most amazing thing about this novel, and the series in general, is how completely fleshed out this world of Jordan's is. Not only are the... | | The Great Hunt (The Wheel of Time, Book 2) | Robert Jordan | | | Robert Jordan is an excellent author and having unabridged audio cds of his stories are great. You can listen to them while driving and still get the complete story. The narrators do an excellent reading and distinguinshing charchaters with small voice inflections. And as alwasy Robert Jordan mana... | | The Dragon Reborn (The Wheel of Time, Book 3) | Robert Jordan | | | | | The Shadow Rising (The Wheel of Time, Book 4) | Robert Jordan | | | It has been a while since I didn't read something so well written, not since the original Dune series by Frank Herbert and Lord of the Rings by Tolkien. The complexity of these novels is astounding; its characters and their world seem so real. I recommend Wheel of Time as the greatest fantasy series... | | The Fires of Heaven (The Wheel of Time, Book 5) | Robert Jordan | | | If you have started with book one - why stop! | | The Gunslinger (Dark Tower) | | | | Thirty-three years, a horrific and life-altering accident, and thousands of desperately rabid fans in the making, Stephen King's quest to complete his magnum opus rivals the quest of Roland and his band of gunslingers who inhabit the Dark Tower series. Loyal DT fans and new readers alike will apprec... | | Towing Jehovah (Harvest Book) | James Morrow | | | | Keeping It Real (Quantum Gravity, Book 1) | Justina Robson | | | This is the first book in the "Quantum Gravity" series. The publication date for the second, "Selling out", has unfortunately slipped to mid 2007 and I don't know how I'm going to stand the wait. | | The Hobbit | J.R.R. Tolkien | | | this is greate book , not only becouse it was the knock off of the classic lord of the rings trilogy and all other story and legends regarding middle earth. but the story to this book was terrific. i must admit it starts off a little slow when it first intoduces mr baggins, but the story will pick u... | | The Lord of the Rings | J.R.R. Tolkien | | | It seems Harper Collins has two different books in their catalog with the ISBN of 0261103253. One is the 1995 copywrite revised text edition paperback (which is the book you will actually get if you order it.) The other is the 50th Anniversary edition paperback (which is the cover picture shown h... | | The Silmarillion | J.R.R. Tolkien | | | The Silmarillion is J.R.R. Tolkien's tragic, operatic history of the First Age of Middle-Earth, essential background material for serious readers of the classic Lord of the Rings saga. Tolkien's work sets the standard for fantasy, and this audio version of the "Bible of Middle-Earth" does ... | | The Shaping of Middle-Earth: The Quenta, the Ambarkanta and the Annals (The History of Middle-Earth, Vol. 4) | J.R.R. Tolkien, Christopher Tolkien | | | . . . continues in this, the fourth volume of "The History of Middle-Earth" series. |
